Finally A “Real” Post {6 Reactions to The Sentence, “I’m Home-schooled”}

Hey everyone!

Sorry for that unannounced hiatus since AAWC… And sorry for the other unannounced hiatuses I’ve taken since the start of this year. The truth is, I bummed for post ideas. I have no idea what to write about.

I need your advice: what blog posts would you like to see from me, and should I change my blog name? I feel like My Homeschool Notebook doesn’t really represent this blog anymore. I have no idea what posts I am writing on this blog, and I think AAWC just gave an excuse not to write any real posts… So please comment down below your thoughts. πŸ™‚

Let’s get on with today’s post, 7 Reactions to The Sentence, “I’m Home-schooled”.

First of all, I don’t get annoyed with all if these reactions, because a lot of them are just innocent questions asked by people who’ve never experienced home-school. But some of them just make me think: “Do these people even think before they speak?” πŸ˜›

Honestly, they make me laugh. XD

Please Pray! + AAWC

Hello everyone! I got some super exciting news…

I got a callback to be one of the Von Trapp kids for The Sound of Music! We’re doing it for my drama. πŸ˜€

I’ve got a lot of competition, so please pray for me; please pray that I don’t get nervous, or mess it up, and that I do the best I can. ❀ Thank you so much! It will mean so much. ❀ ❀

AAWC Please Read!

Hey guys! Sorry for not being clear. For the challenge to use the letter X 3 times in a sentence, the X must be the starting letter of the words. Just to be clear! πŸ™‚

I decided to put this in a new post just in case you all couldn’t see it (I’m so tempted to say ya’ll)

Also, I think some people are having trouble seeing all the picture prompts, so I’m going to do them again. Please don’t submit until I’ve done this so that you don’t miss any extra points!

Please let me know if you still can’t see some of the prompts. There are supposed to be 14.

2 Fun Ways to do Poetry

Hey guys!

Today I’m going to be sharing 3 fun ways to play around with poetry. The first one I did for school a couple weeks ago, and it was so fun!

1)

A Little Princess

Golden summer trimmed with flowers

their colours glorious

lovely

The picnic set

like a Queen’s table

barely one piece of cake

was a dream

Robin And His Merry Adventures

Through villages beyond

Noontide had come.

Peaceful quietness will rest here.

So came mellow sunlight,

And where the grass was soft

Against the clear blue sky

So riding over the hill,

He was.

My brother’s one:

Robin And His Merry Adventures

But I
shed no blood
only that of
fear
Truly there is no danger
with a hundred golden pounds
As to their doings,
laughing
for several miles
King,
drink half a hundred pounds
of merry blue eyes

WHUT. I wonder what goes on in my brother’s head sometimes. XD

So basically what we did is printed some pages out of some books (peoples don’t write on books; you will regret it…). Some people actually scribble all over the words that they’re not using, but to save time and ink, I just circled the words I was using. It looks a lot cooler if you black everything but the words you’re using out, though.

2)

I haven’t done this one yet, and I’m pretty sure I made it up, but it would be fun to do this one. Get a book, close your eyes, open to a random page and point to a random word. Do this about 10 times (depending on how many words you want in your poem), and each time write down the word on a separate paper. Cut out the words and arrange them to make a poem! You could do this with a magazine or anything, really!

I really love the first one! It was so fun! Let me know if you it; I’d love to see them! πŸ˜€

Luv,

Zielle
