The Kind of Thing I Think Blogging Should Be + BIBPC

Hiya lovelies! πŸ˜€

When I first started blogging back in 2015, I started it because I wanted a place to share my thoughts, and my life.

Over the months I’ve been blogging, I’ve kind of been trying to be like other blogs. Change my content so that people will read my blog as much as they read someone else’s. Make it as pretty so people will visit it more.

That’s all good. It’s a good thing to make your blog likeable and appeasing to your readers. That’s why I have a blog survey. πŸ˜‰ But don’t try too hard, guys!

Blogging should be a thing where you can vent out your feelings and share your life. Have fun and don’t stress so much! Personally, I like reading blog posts of people’s thoughts and their life. Other posts are good too, and I’m not saying you shouldn’t do posts other than what I’m talking, but I don’t think we, as bloggers, should spend so much time trying to please our readers.

I’m struggling between having a schedule or not. I feel having a schedule is kinda limiting, because I should be able to post whenever I like. But I also think schedules are good, so I can be consistent and not run out of posting ideas.

I’ve put heaps of my posts back into drafts because I’m afraid people won’t enjoy reading about my life.

Don’t do that! Even if you think your life is boring, maybe someone else can smile about it. πŸ™‚ So be yourselves, humans! There is no one else like you. ❀

Haha JK. XD

But I do think there is such a thing as useless posts, such as an apology post. Apologizing to people for not blogging for a while. Sure, it’s okay to apologize, but don’t make a whole post about it, folks. πŸ˜‰ i just went of track there didn’t i

BIBPC #5, Category 3 – Books

First, I just want to apologize to all the bloggers who’ve nominated me for the Liebster Award or any other tag/award. I’m sorry for the delay in posting them, but I will soon, as well as the results for Define That Word.

I’m also going to be trying to post every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Just so I can get posts up consistently. πŸ˜‰

Megan, I’m on Team Watermelon. πŸ™‚ Anyone on my team, don’t forget to post extra photos to make up for the team members who aren’t able to enter any!

The story behind my picture is that we have heaps and heaps of old books in our house. We also have some creamy colored flowers out the front yard and some ornamental pear trees. So I stuck the book into the branches and snipped of a flower and took this picture! πŸ™‚

I’ll post extra pictures on the BIBPC page as soon as the next category comes out!

God bless!

  1. I totally agree. I feel like what I post won’t please people when really being yourself is all you need to do. πŸ™‚ Keep it up, your posts always make me smile.

  2. Well…HMMMM?!

So I definitely have started to hate apology posts. LIKE you don’t NEED TO APOLOGISE! You have a life so LIVE IT. Gosh. I understand why, I mean I use to apologise but I want to see real content from you!

BUT, I also think it’s okay to post posts NOT about your life if that’s what you enjoy? I don’t really enjoy talking about my life that much but i talk about my BOOKS and WRITING and those things I love too!
Love the picture at the end.

  3. I love your blog Zielle! It’s soooooo gorgeous and pretty and YOU!
I’m with you–I like to blog about life, about things that interest me, and as a way to share my stories with people.
Writing schedules…don’t make me laugh. πŸ˜‰ You know me and my blog schedules. Months between posts…I used to apologize for it, but I don’t anymore. Otherwise I’d have an I’m Sorry at the beginning of every post. πŸ˜‰
